The Starry Night
1 min readJun 28, 2017
I see lights in motion,
On roof, from the window of my room,
When there is nothing but dark,
As if they have come to life.
I get up and reach closer,
I find them dancing, brightly gleaming,
They come near to me
And offer everything I can dream of,
Each having to present what they hold best
But then I realize that it is all just an illusion,
There is no such thing as utopia
And you can’t have everything in life
And the world I am running after
Doesn’t exist at all.
